The International Housing Guide is a web-based application that helps companies manage their international housing programs more efficiently. It combines client-specific housing guidelines with general market data to help companies:
• understand the type of housing available for a specific rental budget;
• observe the trade-offs in the housing market between cost, residential size, and quality of housing;
• validate feedback from expatriates and destination service providers regarding housing costs at the assignment location;
• identify time-to-time changes by referencing archived housing recommendations.
There are three main sections in the International Housing Guide:
1. Location Profiles: general market information, including rental grid and map.
2. Housing Charts & Tables: information that can be be customized for each client, including rent chart and standards.
3. Extended Reports: An expatriate-specific individual recommendation, plus comprehensive housing report information for the transferee and destination service provider.
