Each destination write-up contains essential information on visas, housing, schools, finance, healthcare, and business practices. New online tools include the Move Planner, the Help Desk, the Culture Compass, and an Interactive Self-Assessment. For HR only, there is a Visa & Passport Real-time Database. LAIRC includes specific sections tailored to traditional, short-term, localized, and commuter assignments, minimizing information searches, reducing the stress of relocation, and decreasing calls to HR. LAIRC saves assignees and HR time by making the information needed for smooth transitions readily available. Corporate clients can also customize their sites with applicable relocation contacts and policies.
